Personal Information You Provide to Us
We collect Personal Information that You submit to us voluntarily through the Site.

  • When You register as a user on the Site, we may collect, without limitation, the following information you provide to us: your first and last names, e-mail address, company and/or phone.
  • When You contact us by sending us an e-mail, we collect Your name, e-mail address and information contained in the e-mail You send us.

Personal Information Collected Via Technology
As You navigate the Site, certain information may also be collected passively, including Your Internet protocol address (“IP address”), browser type, domain names, access times and operating system. We also use “Cookies” and navigational data like Uniform Resource Locators (URLs) to gather information regarding the date and time of Your visit and the information for which You searched and which You viewed. This type of information is collected to make our products and services more useful to You.
Every computer connected to the Internet is given a domain name and a set of numbers that serve as that computer's "Internet Protocol" or IP address. When a visitor requests a page from any web site within the PaperHost network, our web servers automatically recognize that visitor's domain name and IP address. The domain name and IP address reveal nothing personal about you other than the IP address from which you have accessed our site. We use this information to examine our traffic in aggregate, and to investigate misuse of the PaperHost network, its users, or to cooperate with law enforcement. We do not collect and evaluate this information for specific individuals. Our Web servers do not automatically record e-mail addresses of the visitors.

From time to time, PaperHost may send a "cookie" to your computer. A cookie is a small piece of data that is sent to your Internet browser from a Web server and stored on your computer's hard drive. A cookie can't read data off of your computer hard disk or read cookie files created by other Web sites. Cookies do not damage your system. You can choose whether to accept cookies by changing the settings of your Internet browser. You can reset your browser to refuse all cookies, or allow your browser to show you when a cookie is being sent. If you choose not to accept these cookies, your experience at our Site and other Web sites may be diminished and some features may not work as intended.
We use third-party web beacons from Yahoo! to help analyze where visitors go and what they do while visiting our website. Yahoo! may also use anonymous information about your visits to this and other websites in order to improve its products and services and provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you.

Personal Information We Receive From Other Sources
PaperHost may receive Personal Information about You from other sources like postal mail, telephone or fax.  We may add this information to the information we have already collected from You via the Site in order to improve the products and services we provide.

Use of Information
Unless You affirmatively elect not to receive (“opt-out”) the following communications from PaperHost, Personal Information You submit to us is used either to respond to requests that You make, send You general informative announcements, other general information about us or our products or to aid us in serving You better.   You will be given the opportunity to opt-out of receiving further communication from us at the bottom of every e-mail we send to You.

As described in more detail below, in order to perform our services, we may disclose Your Personal Information to third party vendors.  We may also use Your Personal Information to provide You with information regarding changes and upgrades to the Site, unless and until You request not to receive such communications from us.

We may create Anonymous Information records from Personal Information by excluding information (such as Your name) that makes the information personally identifiable to You.  We may use this Anonymous Information to analyze request patterns and usage patterns so that we may enhance our products and services.  We reserve the right to use and disclose Anonymous Information to third parties under our discretion, including for internal business analysis and to provide aggregate demographic data to our various partners.

Personal Information Collected Via Our Software Products
If You use any of the software products or services available via our sites, You may be subject to additional terms and conditions and the licenses under which you have a right to use such software products or services will govern the terms and conditions regarding the collection of any of your Personal Information provided to us via those software products or services.

From time to time, we may have subsidiaries, joint ventures or other companies under common control with us (collectively, “Affiliates”).  At present we do not share your Personal Information with our Affiliates, however if we do share some or all of Your Personal Information with any Affiliate, we will require that Affiliate to honor this Privacy Policy.

If PaperHost or our assets are acquired by another company, that company will possess the Personal Information collected by us and it will assume the rights and obligations regarding Your Personal Information as described in this Privacy Policy.

Regardless of any choices You make regarding Your Personal Information (as described below), PaperHost may disclose Your Personal Information if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to (a) comply with relevant laws or to respond to court orders; or (b) to protect and defend the rights or property of PaperHost or third parties. Access to Your Personal Information
Whenever You use our services, we aim to provide You with access to your personal information. When requesting to access Your personal information, we will verify your identity before we act on Your request. We may reject requests that are unreasonably repetitive, risk the privacy of others or are financially or otherwise impractical. Where we can provide information access, we will do so in a timely and free of cost. If access or correction request to Your information is denied for any reason, You will receive notification of the denial and underlying reason in writing via mail or e-mail. The procedure to challenge such a denial must also be included in such communication, if applicable.

Regarding Children
We do not intentionally gather Personal Information about visitors who are under the age of 13.

Our provision of a link to any other website or location is for Your convenience and does not signify our endorsement of such other website or location or its contents.
