The traditional means of distributing a payroll check or stub is: print, fold, stuff, seal, send or distribute to employees. As the trend toward electronic payment (direct deposit) increases, employees, often dispose of the payment stub unopened.

This approach eliminated almost all the manual labor from Marathon's internal processing and alleviated the burden of storing, retrieving, and managing the payroll documents for their customers.
Customers and employees can now access any payroll related document from their home or office through a secure internet connection.
