PaperHost's phCONNECT is designed to link commercial desktop and departmental scanning solutions directly to document libraries hosted at PaperHost. We are working with a variety of hardware manufacturers and software vendors to allow users the ability to scan documents directly to PaperHost. This de-centralized approach to scanning means that document capture can be pushed closer to the source - namely the people that produce the documents.

Visioneer OneTouch®

Our partnership with Visioneer has been a huge success. It means that both the Visioneer and Xerox® branded scanner lines, using Visioneer's patented OneTouch technology, can be used to make the task of scanning and uploading a document to PaperHost a "One Touch" operation. OneTouch uses the industry leading Virtual ReScan® technology from Kofax® to achieve superior image quality from any supported scanner.

phCONNECT is configured as a profile within the OneTouch software so that users can automatically scan and save document images on PaperHost. The images are transmitted directly from the desktop to PaperHost utilizing SSH encryption. This tight integration provides the user a simple solution to a sophisticated problem.
