But often the goal is to simply load the documents and defer indexing until later - with our web-based indexing tool - phINDEX - can be used after documents are already on PaperHost. With phINDEX, the work of indexing documents can be done anywhere in the world by anyone authorized and capable to associate the document with the key lookup values that will be needed for later retrieval. |

When the documents are in paper form, they must be scanned. PaperHost provides the phSCAN application that is designed as a production batch scanning tool to be used for larger back file conversions or anywhere large volumes are processed daily. With phSCAN, the user can drive any high capacity scanner supported by the Kofax scan engines. |

But for users with lower daily volumes of paper documents, the phCONNECT product allows for even the smallest desktop scanner to load documents directly to PaperHost. Departmental users can do the same thing with multi-function scanner/printer equipment. |
